WWE U.K Champion Pete Dunne was injured last night at the Battle Pro Wrestling event in New York. Dunne was hit with his title during his match with Darius Carter, he was busted open and bled profusely.
The match ended up being cut short, and according to talent backstage Dunne went immediately to the hospital where he received 11 stitches.
WWE officials spoke with Progress wrestling management and they agreed that Pete cannot perform tonight and tomorrow at the Progress wrestling events due to the injury. Pete will be in attendance to do a signing.
