The WWE filed a trademark for the term “WWE Mixed Match Challenge” on November 3rd, 2017. The United States Trademark Office entered the trademark in their system as of November 7th.

Although no details are available on the nature of this new trademark, the thought here is that it will be related to an intergender match or event in the future.

 

The WWE recently tested the waters with an intergender match between James Ellsworth and Becky Lynch.
