WWE Trying To Secure Talent To 5 Year Deals

The WWE is heading into 2019 with trying to secure as many stars as possible, as well as retaining talent who have contracts expiring.

Mike Johnson noted today on PWInsider Elite that there has been talk about Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson’s contract expiring soon. Johnson states that from what he has heard from WWE sources is that their contracts will not expire until 2019.

The WWE is trying to sign talent to 5 year deals, as opposed to 2 and 3 year deals, and with other stars such as AJ Styles contract expiring, the WWE is likely to offer lucrative deals to retain talent.

The talk of a new promotion spearheaded by The Young Bucks and Cody has a lot of interest from both independent stars, and reportedly WWE stars as well.
