Bandido Signs Exclusive Contract With Ring Of Honor

WWE may have had another star slip out of their hands, as Lucha star Bandido has reportedly signed an exclusive deal with Ring Of Honor.

Back in September, WWE head talent scout William Regal attended the PWG Battle Of Los Angeles Tournament. Regal was there looking for new NXT talent, and was very high on Brody King and Bandido.

Brody King recently signed an exclusive deal with Ring Of Honor, and made his debut at last night’s ROH TV Tapings.  According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider Elite, both ROH and WWE were interested in signing Bandido.

Today, Luchablog is reporting that Bandido is the first Mexican wrestler to sign a full-time deal with Ring Of Honor. The 23-year old star is expected to start with the company sometime in January.

Bandido will be fulfilling the majority of his independent bookings including Wrestlecon on Wrestlemania 35 weekend.

Ring Of Honor exclusive deals reportedly do not cover Mexico, so he will still be able to work in the country.
