The Revival asked for their release this past Monday on RAW after their match against The Lucha House Party.

According to Dave Meltzer, they duo did attempt to do it prior to the program starting, but couldn’t due to Vince McMahon being too busy to speak to anyone.

Vince McMahon and Paul Heyman were behind Braun Strowman’s limousine flipping segment, and reportedly were too busy to be bothered by anyone prior to RAW airing.

The limousine flipping angle involving Braun Strowman was pre-taped, so it could be edited prior to airing during the live program.

The Revival attempted to speak to McMahon prior to the show, but couldn’t, so they waited until after their match to to request their release.

The Revival are back on the road for this weekend’s WWE live events. They faced Bobby Roode and Chad Gable tonight in San Antonio, TX
