Backstage Notes From Ring Of Honor Final Battle

Last night was Ring Of Honor’s Final Battle pay-per-view in New York, and coming out of the event Mike Johnson has some backstage updates.

Although Ring Of Honor had a four hour window for the event last night, the main event match was cut short. The original plans were to have a 40 minute match, and that was cut in half due to time constraints. The participants were told as they were heading out to the ring of the change in allotted time.

Tonight’s TV taping in Philadelphia will be the final appearances for The Young Bucks, SCU, Adam Page and Cody in Ring of Honor. Based on word from backstage last night, The Elite are scheduled to be involved in an Eight-Man Tag Team Match at the tapings.

ROH also has plans to bring in new talent at tonight’s tapings as the company re-shifts focus on attempting to build new stars. Ring Of Honor has signed British superstar Mark Haskins, who is known for his work PWG, Progress, Smash Wrestling and Defiant. It appears Kelly Klein is not under ROH contract, but will be offered one following her title win at the PPV last night.
