Sami Zayn Says He Needs A Few More Months To Rehab

Sami Zayn was a guest on today’s episode of Talk Is Jericho is podcast hosted by Chris Jericho. Sami Zayn spoke on his current rehab process, indication that he has been rehabbing at the WWE Performance Center, but is not close to returning to the ring quite yet.

Sami Zayn stated “I’m not even close, I need a few more months” when speaking about his return to the WWE.

Although not noted on the podcast, the interview was recorded at the end of November. Chris Jericho was in Montreal playing a concert with his band Fozzy, and scheduled an interview with Sami while he was in town.

The WWE aired vignettes this past week on RAW indicating he is returning soon. Initial reports were that he would be cleared something in February, which seems to line up with him saying he needs a few more months.

Sami Zayn underwent two surgeries, seven weeks apart to repair torn rotator cuffs in each arm.
