Kenny Omega has announced his departure from New Japan Pro Wrestling. While we don’t know where he will end up quite yet, it’s expected he will sign with either the WWE or All Elite Wrestling.

Rumors have been circulated online over the last week that Omega has been offered a 3.5 million dollar deal, that includes creative control.

Dave Meltzer cleared up these rumors on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio. He confirmed the report is not true. Meltzer did state last week that Omega was given a “fantastic offer” from the WWE, but did not indicate the dollar amount.

Meltzer also noted that All Elite Wrestling is confident they will sign Kenny Omega, but Omega’s decision isn’t known.

Omega’s contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling expires at the end of this month. We should hopefully know his decision before that time.

On the latest episode of Being The Elite, they teased Omega’s future. You can watch the episode below.
