The WWE has filed a trademark with the United States Trademark Office for the term “Worlds Collide”. The filing was registered on 1/3/19.

The trademark filing details indicate it will be used for entertainment services, namely a show about professional wrestling. It also states that it could be used for a professional wrestling event for live television, or the internet.

International Class 041:  Entertainment services, namely, a show about professional wrestling; entertainment services, namely, the production and exhibition of professional wrestling events rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network

Intent to Use: The applicant has a bona fide intention, and is entitled, to use the mark in commerce on or in connection with the identified goods/services.

AAA had a similar name for an event back in 1994 “When Worlds Collide”, which was in conjunction with IWC. WCW helped secure a PPV deal for the company in the U.S.
