Sin Cara has been on the shelf with a knee injury since last summer, and is working towards an in-ring return.

Sin Cara underwent surgery to repair his injured knee last August, and has been doing media events for the WWE while he rehabs.

According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, Sin Cara is currently training at the WWE Performance Center ahead of a return to Smackdown Live.

There is talk that when he returns he may be aligned with Rey Mysterio.

Several months ago there was talk about a new latino faction headed by Andrade, but those plans were scrapped.

If Sin Cara does align himself with Rey Mysterio it could be working towards the two entering the tag-team division, but that is currently not known.
