Hideo Itami Requests Release From WWE, Expected To Return To Japan

Hideo Itami has requested his release from WWE. The WWE is expected to grant his release, but has yet to do so according to PWInsider.

Fightful.com broke the story last night stating that Hideo Itami requested to be released from his his WWE contract.

Itami’s last match with the company was against Akira Tozawa last night on 205 Live.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider adds that WWE has yet to grant him his release, but will do so. Itami is set to have a 90 day no compete clause, and is set to return home to Japan.

Although not confirmed, Pro Wrestling NOAH, which is under new management may be the next stop for Itami.

Itami has changed his social media handles back to his original name KENTA.
