Kurt Angle Set To Retire As In-Ring Performer

In front of a hometown crowd tonight in Pittsburgh, Kurt Angle announced his final match as an in-ring performer will be at Wrestlemania 35 on 4/6.

The WWE Hall Of Famer teared up as he thanked his hometown spoke on how 23 years ago, he left Pittsburgh to compete at the Olympic Games.

Angle thanked the WWE, and every superstar he shared a locker  room with over the years.

Kurt Angle then faced Apollo Crews, in a quick match, which he won via Angle Slam.

Kurt Angle’s opponent at Wrestlemania 35 is currently not known, but previous plans had him facing John Cena, in a match that reportedly was scrapped. It’s unknown who they will choose to face the WWE Hall Of Famer.
