Vince Screws Kofi Once Again

Kofi Kingston successfully ran the gauntlet tonight on Smackdown Live, but is not headed to Wrestlemania 35.

Kofi Kingston defeated Cesaro, Sheamus, Rowan, Samoa Joe, and Randy Orton to earn a shot at the WWE Championship on 4/7.

Following his win, Vince McMahon announced Kofi would need to defeat one more opponent to gain an opportunity at the Grandest Stage Of Them All.

McMahon issued Kofi yet another challenge against Daniel Bryan, and unfortunately Kingston came up short and couldn’t defeat the WWE Champion.

It’s expected Kofi will eventually make it to Wrestlemania, but how he will get there is currently unknown.
