Date Change For Next Saudi Arabia PPV

WWE had plans of returning to Saudi Arabia on 5/3, but that has changed due to logistical reasons.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the company will be moving their next planned Saudi Arabia event to 6/7.

This change will cause live events on 6/7 to 6/9 in Denver, Boise, Oakland, and Stockton to be postponed.

WWE staff have a rough travel week as RAW and Smackdown are in Austin and Laredo on 6/3 and 6/4. Crews will fly to Saudi Arabia, work the event on 6/7, and return to San Jose on 6/10 and Sacramento on 6/11 for RAW and Smackdown.

WWE will also be running a standalone NXT PPV on 6/8 in San Jose, so they will have two separate production crews working that weekend.

WWE previously didn’t book any events from 4/30 – 5/5 due to the original show date. It’s not clear whether talent will have time off, or if the company can secure venues in short notice.

WWE previously had both Undertaker and Brock Lesnar confirmed for the event on 5/3. It’s not known whether they have been informed on the new scheduled date.

WWE also has plans to return to Saudi Arabia on 11/1 in Riyadh for their second PPV of 2019.
