Lars Sullivan Fined For Message Board Remarks

WWE has fined Lars Sullivan $100,000 for offensive remarks he has made in the past.

According to Fightful, WWE has reprimanded Sullivan for racist, homophobic, and misogynistic remarks posted on message boards several years ago. He is also required to complete sensitivity training, as well as meet with community organizations.

WWE issued the following statement.

“WWE supports a culture of inclusion regardless of gender, race, religion or sexual orientation, and we are committed to embracing all individuals as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.

Dylan Miley (aka Lars Sullivan) will be fined $100,000 and required to complete sensitivity training for offensive commentary uncovered from his past. WWE will also facilitate meetings for Dylan with community organizations to foster further discussion around the power of social media and the impact of your words.”

According to Newsweek, Lars Sullivan will still continue to work television and live events while he undergoes sensitivity training.

WWE issued a statement last week on behalf of Sullivan apologizing for his offensive remarks

“There is no excuse for the inappropriate remarks that I made years ago. They do not reflect my personal beliefs nor who I am today, and I apologize to anyone I offended.”

Fans reached out to WWE sponsor Mars Wrigley who stated they were in dialogue with WWE regarding this situation.

Lars Sullivan is currently touring with WWE in Europe.
