Stephanie McMahon Heads Backstage Talent Meeting

WWE held a talent meeting earlier today ahead of Money In The Bank in Hartford, CT.

According to Dave Meltzer at The Wrestling Observer, Stephanie McMahon headed the meeting, and one of the most notable takeaways was her referring to All Elite Wrestling as competition for WWE.

During the meeting, Stephanie was pushing WWE’s social media statistics, and said they have many other things they are competing with including video games, movies, streaming services, as well as now All Elite Wrestling.

In the past, in giving these types of speeches, at no time have they ever mentioned competing with another wrestling company.

The last time WWE felt any other type of threat from another promotion was during the Monday Night Wars against WCW.
