New Japan Pro Wrestling held their Dominion event on June 9 inside Osaka-Jo Hall in Osaka, Japan.
Kazuchika Okada defeated Chris Jericho to retain the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in the main event of the show.

The event also saw Tetsuya Naito defeat Kota Ibushi to win the IWGP Intercontinental Championship. Will Ospreay defeated Dragon Lee to win his third IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship, and Tomohiro Ishii won the NEVER Openweight Champion after defeating Taichi.

We also saw a surprise appearance from Kenta, formerly Hideo Itami in WWE. He appeared alongside Katsuyori Shibata, and announced he wanted to participate in the 2019 G1 Climax tournament.

Jon Moxley worked the opening match defeating Shota Umino. After the match he also announced he would like to compete in the G1 Climax tournament.
