Lars Sullivan Sidelined With Knee Injury

Last week it was revealed that Lars Sullivan suffered a knee injury during his match with Lucha House Party on the June 10th episode of RAW.

At the time it was unknown the severity of the injury, and a scheduled match against Matt Hardy on Smackdown the next night was cancelled.

According to Dave Meltzer in the recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Sullivan underwent an MRI last week. The official diagnosis has yet to be revealed, but those in the company believe he will be out for six to nine months.

“Sullivan’s knee injury reported on last week was worse than anticipated,” Meltzer stated. “He underwent an MRI during the week. The only stuff we’ve heard is that the company believes he will be out six to nine months”

Sullivan has had a rocky start since joining the main roster. He took time off following mental health issues before he made his debut on television. He was also fined $100,000 after offensive posts were unearthed from his past.
