Impact Wrestling reportedly has Killer Kross in the doghouse following reports of him refusing to blade at Slammiversry this past July.

Multiple reports have surfaced today from PWInsider, Wrestlezone, and Fightful confirming Kross refused to blade during his I Quit Match against Eddie Edwards at Slammiversary.  Impact staff reportedly had to find fake blood at the last minute to proceed with plans they had for the match. The company reportedly did not have 3rd party medical personal, as well as pre-match testing, which is one of the reasons Kross refused to blade.

In last week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted Kross was offered a $40,000 a year contract, but was looking for $100,000. Negotiations have reached a stalemate, and Kross is now in talks with Impact via his attorney according to Fightful.

Impact Wrestling is reportedly pressuring AAA not to book Kross at the Lucha Ivades NY event at Madison Square Garden on 9/15. PWInsider states Impact has concerns Kross will be suing the company, although no lawsuit has been filed as of this morning.

Fightful states AAA is using IMPACT Wrestling’s promoter license, as well as other amenities to promote their pay-per-view at Madison Square Garden, and the company would rather not have Kross on the event, despite him working numerous dates for AAA in the past.

Killer Kross was refused to be let out of his current deal, and still has a remaining two years on the contract. Kross’ current contract with the company is a pay-per-appearance deal, which if he is not booked, he will not be paid. Kross can continue to work independent promotions.
