Following an extremely long delay leaving Saudi Arabia, the remaining WWE crew has returned to the United States.

A second charted flight landed at JFK airport at 12:20 pm ET carrying the majority of the WWE roster and staff who participated in the Crown Jewel event on 10/31.

The flight was delayed over an hour from departing Riyadh airport, but arrived safely at JFK airport to much excitement to those on board.

As previously reported, WWE crew were delayed for over 24 hours in leaving Riyadh after a reported mechanical issue with the original charted flight. WWE issued a statement on behalf of Atlas Air, which sat on the tarmac for several hours prior to WWE stars being able to return to hotel rooms in Riyadh.

Around 20 WWE crew members, including 12 stars managed to take a flight back to the United States prior to SmackDown, but did not make the show last night due to additional delays.

WWE flew several NXT roster members to last night’s SmackDown event in lieu of these delays.

WWE SmackDown stars will be headed to Europe next week for another tour.
