In the wake of sexual assault allegations against independent wrestler David Starr, several women have spoken out about their experiences.
Several promotions have severed ties with Starr after accusations of sexual assault were levied against him.
The hashtag #SpeakingOut was trending on Twitter Thursday, with various stories of wrestlers who have been accused of serious allegations by different women.
WWE UK stars Jordan Devlin and Ligero were among the men who faced serious allegations.
Former NXT Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Devlin faces abuse allegations from a woman named Hanna Francesca.
Francesca, who has since limited her Twitter mentions Devlin as “my abuser”, and posted images of the alleged bruises he left.
This is scary. I’m really scared. Jordan Devlin did this to me. And this is just the physical damage. Not including my arse and back bruises….because I don’t fancy posting that online
I was also told to reach out to my abuser as the whole thing might just be a “misunderstanding” ??????? Promoters…..educate yourself. Don’t gaslight your fans or talent.
WWE issued the following statement following the allegations against against Jordan Devlin
“We take any allegation of this nature very seriously and are looking into the matter.”
WWE has not issued a statement on Ligero following the accusations.
NXT UK star Joe Coffey has been accused of harassment by former independent wrestler Sierra Loxton. She also spoke on stories she heard from others in a tweet posted Thursday evening.
I had to block Joe Coffey on all my social media accounts because he wouldn’t leave me alone.
I’ve been told tonight that hes sexually harassed 3 girls, sending unsolicited naked images, voice notes, stalking. #speakingout

Many other stories have began emerging after the #SpeakingOut hashtag began to trend on Twitter.
Several members of the wrestling community, including top stars have shown solidarity with the women who have spoken out.
I’m disgusted by what I’m reading.
Well done to those speaking out. I really hope we can make British wrestling a better place and keep everyone safe.
This is a huge eye opener and let’s hope it will force a big change.

You don’t have to share your pain. But if you do, realize how incredibly brave you are. Sharing your pain may prevent someone from experiencing that same pain. My heart is with you. #SpeakingOut

I pray our industry is swiftly rid of all these predators & abusers. To everyone brave enough to tell their story, I’m so sorry you had to endure this. #SpeakingOut
