WWE is finalizing plans for their SummerSlam pay-per-view, which is less than two weeks away. The company has yet to announce a location for the annual summer event.
Vince McMahon has been very adamant in having limited fans in attendance for the show, but that does not look like it’s going to happen.
According to a new report from WrestleVotes, SummerSlam will not take place at the Performance Center. Talks of having fans in attendance has seemingly fizzled out, and the company will once again have a closed set.
“SummerSlam will not take place in the PC. However, no fans will be in attendance.” Wrestlevotes tweeted Wednesday afternoon.
As far as a location, WWE has been scouting various sites in the Northeast, including Atlantic City. At one point, the company was hopeful they could host the event on a beach, or a boat. It’s unknown if those plans can now take place.
The report indicates a source is not sure on the exact location of the event, and the “northeast possibility is now said to be iffy at best”.
Good news, Bad news:
