Brock Lesnar Has Separate Deals For Performances and Merchandise
Brock Lesnar is not under contract with WWE, working his last match for the promotion at Wrestlemania 36, deeming him a currently a free agent.
Dave Meltzer added additional details on Lesnar’s contract expiry on the F4WOnline (subscription required) forums, noting his deal with WWE expired after Wrestlemania, and his merchandise agreement with the company expired this past week.
His merchandise agreement expiring was the reason why WWEShop has pulled all his merchandise from the online store.
WWE is reportedly in no hurry to sign Lesnar to a new deal, as they do not have anything currently planned for him, until they are able to do larger events.
Fightful Select (subscription required) spoke with a WWE source who stated, “This happens every year. This year, a little longer than usual. But nothing new.”
