Beefcake Claims Family Emergency Caused Him To Leave Canadian Wrestling Elite Tour
WWE legend Brutus The Barber Beefcake refutes claims that he no-showed the last leg of the Canadian Wrestling Elite tour this week. The tour was promoted by Canadian wrestler Danny Duggan, who has ran many successful tours across Canada over the years. The
According to Duggan, he learned Brutus Beefcake left the tour hours before their event in Thunder Bay, ON. Beefcake allegedly booked a plane ticket home.
It was with great disappointment we learned hours before the event in Thunder Bay on Saturday Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake had opted to hop on a plane home and miss his final 5 advertised tour dates.
Fortunately the great fans of CWE have been beyond understanding and have gone on record saying the world class talent on the events have produced arguably the best CWE events they have seen to date.
Even with the great support of our fans we have been working the phone literally since the second we heard the news to make this up to our fans and are ecstatic to announce that for the first time in almost 5 years “The Zombie Princess” Jimmy Jacobs returns to CWE!
Canadian Wrestling Elite claims Brutus Beefcake had been paid, and left the tour without filling his obligations to the promotion. CWE was able to secure former ROH and current Impact star Jimmy Jacobs as a last minute replacement for the remaining tour dates
And a special thanks to Brutus Beefcake for getting paid up front then skipping out on the last few days of the tour, thereby allowing me to fill in as a last minute replacement and have a blast these past three days returning to @CWECanada https://t.co/LQojTcOz1E
