Update: Bray Wyatt Cause Of Death Revealed

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Windham Rotunda, known in the wrestling world as Bray Wyatt, contracted COVID earlier this year, which aggravated existing heart issues. Despite facing these health challenges, there had been significant optimism regarding his recovery and potential return to the ring. Sadly, he suffered a heart attack today and passed away.

I was given permission to reveal that earlier this year Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) got COVID that exacerbated a heart issues.

There was a lot of positive progress towards a return and his recovery. Unfortunately today he suffered a heart attack and passed away.

Windham Rotunda, known to wrestling fans as Bray Wyatt and The Fiend in WWE, passed away today at the age of 36. According to PWTorch, Rotunda had been battling serious illness that had sidelined him from the ring and television appearances. Despite his health struggles, his family described his death today as both unexpected and sudden.

Paul Levesque, also known in the wrestling world as Triple H, tweeted moments ago: “Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda – also known as Bray Wyatt – unexpectedly passed earlier today. Our thoughts are with his family, and we ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time.”

A third-generation wrestler, Rotunda was the son of Mike Rotunda and the grandson of Blackjack Mulligan. He gained fame as the charismatic leader of the Wyatt Family faction and was the creative genius behind The Firefly Funhouse, along with his sinister alter-ego, The Fiend.

During his peak, Rotunda was a key player in WWE’s main events and was viewed as an essential part of the company’s future. He achieved significant success, holding WWE’s most prestigious singles and tag team titles.

Rotunda made his WWE television debut as part of The Nexus, wrestling under the name Husky Harris.

Remembering Bray Wyatt

Windham Rotunda, known to the wrestling world as Bray Wyatt, was a third-generation professional wrestler who made a significant impact in WWE. Born on May 23, 1987, he was the son of WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda and the grandson of the legendary Blackjack Mulligan.
