Charlotte Flair Has Wind Knocked Out Of Her
Last night at WWE’s Tables, Ladder’s, Chairs pay-per-view we witnessed Becky Lynch defend her Smackdown Women’s Title against Asuka, and Charlotte Flair in a Triple Threat TLC Match.
The match, which ended up being the main event of the PPV saw plenty of high spots, including one that left a lot of people wondering if Charlotte Flair was ok.
During the match, Becky Lynch placed Charlotte Flair on an announcer table climbed the ladder, and leaped off of it with a Alabama leg drop. Lynch ended up landing directly on Charlotte with her full weight on Charlotte’s mid-section. Based on Charlotte’s immediate reaction, and audible swearing, which was caught by time delay, she seemed to be hurt.
Dave Meltzer noted in the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that Charlotte did indeed feel that spot, and had the wind knocked out of her. He does state that she is ok following the match, but clearly she was dazed following the spot.
Asuka ended up winning the Smackdown Women’s Title last night after defeating Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.
