Jonathan Gresham Reportedly Difficult To Work With
Ring Of Honor star Jonathan Gresham was held off the last set of TV tapings due to an incident that occured during the Final Battle PPV.
PWTorch is reporting that Grasham was extremely upset after his match with Zack Sabre Jr. at the Final Battle PPV. He reportedly left the building after his match, and caused a change in creative plans for the ROH World Title match. Gresham was slated to be involved in the Jay Lethal vs. Cody match, which resulted in Lethal retaining his ROH World Title.
Gresham is reportedly hard to work with, and it’s a challenge putting matches together with him according to PWTorch sources. One ROH source stated that if it were up to him Gresham would have been fired for leaving the venue during the Final Battle event.
Gresham was held off the TV tapings the next night in Philadelphia, and no word if any further punishment is on the horizon.
Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer did corroborate PWTorch’s story indicating the incident with Gresham at Final Battle did occur.
