Ahead of All Elite Wrestling’s debut weekly show on TNT on October 2, the company is expected to announce another program on the network.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the company will air another show on the TNT prior to the debut weekly show to provide an introduction to the company.

“While 10/2 will be the first live wrestling show, it will not be the first show on TNT.” Meltzer states. ” There is other programming yet to be announced to provide an introduction and build major shows”

The company is also planning on holding one more pay-per-view event this year. It’s unknown if it will be an actual PPV show or a free event on B/R Live. The company recently trademarked the name AEW Revolution, which some speculate could be for their weekly television, but it could be the name of another special event.

AEW plans to run four PPV events in 2020.
