Rey Fenix suffered a leg injury last night at the Big Time Wrestling event in Pawtucket, RI.

The injury occured during a match which saw Fenix and Pentagon Jr facing Teddy Hart and Juventud Guerrera. Fenix collapsed and grabbed his leg following a superkick on Teddy Hart. He then rolled out of the ring, and brought to the back for medical attention. The match ended early with Guerrera scoring a quick pin on Pentagon Jr.

According to Dave Meltzer, Fenix is able to walk on his leg, but it was weak following the match. Early reports suggested he may have broken his leg, but that was ruled out following a tweet from Taya Valkyrie who spoke to Fenix following the match.

While no official diagnosis has been revealed, he is hopeful it is only something minor and will be able to compete at All Elite Wrestling’s All Out on 8/31 in Chicago.

Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr are scheduled to defend their AAA Tag Team Titles in a Ladder Match against The Young Bucks at All Out next weekend.
