Jericho vs. Tyson Original Plans For AEW All Out 2

In May, boxing legend Mike Tyson made two special appearances for All Elite Wrestling, the first during their Double Or Nothing pay-per-view, and another during Dynamite the following Wednesday.

During the 5/27 episode of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho and Mike Tyson had a pull-apart during the final segment of the show, with Tyson later vowing he would Jericho would “get his ass kicked”.

This angle was reportedly a setup for a future match between the two.

Chris Jericho revealed during the latest edition of his Saturday Night Special stream, original plans called for Mike Tyson to have a match against him at AEW’s All Out 2 pay-per-view.

“Originally I was supposed to work with Tyson at that September pay-per-view” Jericho revealed. “We just couldn’t get it done in time.”
