Christian Cage was revealed as the mystery signing during tonight’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view.

He inked a multi-year deal with the company, signing a contract during the broadcast.

Over the last week, many speculated who would be the “Hall Of Fame worthy” signee, with Christian being one of the top names on the list.

This past January, Christian made his long-awaited return to the squared circle at the 2021 WWE Royal Rumble, following a seven-year absence from in-ring competition.

Following his appearance, reports emerged regarding his future status with the company, with plans on him working part-time for the promotion. This was no longer the case and talks between him and WWE fell through.

According to a recent report from Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc., Christian was not under contract with WWE. Earlier last week, Raj tweeted he was told Christian was under contract with WWE, but clairifed, he was under contract only with FOX. This likely was for his work with WWE Backstage, which has since been canceled as a long-term series.

All Elite Wrestling kept the news of his signing under wraps, with talent being aware, but not revealed the identity to friends or close family according to a report earlier today from Fightful Select.
