Jim Ross and Taz Have Harsh Words For WWE During AEW Post-Show
During All Elite Wrestling’s Dynamite post-show on Youtube, Jim Ross and Taz shared their thoughts on WWE NXT.
When speaking about how great the up and coming talent are on AEW television, Jim Ross questioned why there was even a choice in shows on Wednesday night, urging fans to “DVR NXT and watch it later”.
“We got so many young guys who are evolving before our eyes, this is going to sound real ass-kissing, but why is there even a choice on Wednesday night’s, DVR NXT, watch it later, our shit’s better! I’m proud of being able to say that, it’s not in defiance, it’s just in reality.”
Taz jumped in and gave his thoughts, indicating he doesn’t remember the last time he watched NXT. He feels that WWE is questioning people’s intelligence, meanwhile AEW is acknowledging them to not pretend they don’t exist.
“I don’t remember the last time I even watched their show, that’s no bullshit. I really don’t give a rats ass about it! I respect the men and women there, that are bumping and working. I’m so locked in to what we do, I don’t give a rats ass.”
Excalibur then jumped in to try and bring things back on track, but Taz and Jim Ross were not finished.
Jim Ross then asked if WWE would ever mention AEW on any of their programming, specifically speaking on some of the streaming and online shows produced by the company.
“Here’s the deal man! You think any of those tv shows, those online shows, those streaming shows that WWE does, they would ever mention us? Shit no! They’re arrogant!” Here’s us going on our Youtube channel trying to build this entity, here’s us going going on Wednesday nights on TNT, and I mention guys all the time who have WWE backgrounds, so fucking what!”
Taz then mentioned how people go on AEW’s Youtube channel stating the company complains about WWE. He feels WWE is insulting their intelligence, while they have no issues mentioning them.
There it is again AEW complaining about WWE, no dumb shits, what we’re doing is not insulting your intelligence, and we’re acknowledging WWE. They are the one’s insulting your intelligence!
