Kenny Omega defended his AEW Championship tonight against Jon Moxley in the main event of tonight’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view in an Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch.
The finish of the match had a countdown clock, with the ring exploding once it finished. What actually happened was lackluster, with fans both inside the arena and those watching on pay-per-view expressing their dissatisfaction.

Jon Moxley spoke to the crowd, playing into the storyline where Kenny Omega constructed the exploding ring, but clearly didn’t do a good job.
Tony Khan addressed this during the post-show media scrum. Basically, Kenny Omega couldn't pull off building a good "exploding ring". https://t.co/IrAxlkJzzE

.@JonMoxley didn’t regain the belt tonight but he regained a friend in Eddie Kingston! King came to save Mox from the final blast, which wasn’t enough to keep Mox & Eddie down for good!
