Chris Jericho has retained the AEW World Championship after a controversial finish at AEW Full Gear in Baltimore, MD.
The end of the match saw Jericho execute the Lion Tamer on Cody, when MJF decided to throw in the towel in Cody’s behalf.
Following the match, MJF kicked Cody between the legs, turning on his best friend. As MJF made his way up the ramp, a “fan” threw a drink at him.
Based on tonight’s decision, Cody does not get another AEW World Title shot.
