Former WWE star Miro(Rusev) made his All Elite Wrestling debut during this week’s episode of Dynamite.
According to Fightful Select (subscription required), Miro’s agreement with AEW will allow him also work with New Japan Pro-Wrestling. He will remain exclusive to AEW for television in the United States, he will not be allowed to appear on NJPW USA programming. His deal will also allow him to take “some independent dates”.
Several other AEW stars are allowed to work with NJPW, including Chris Jericho, Jon Moxley, and Brodie Lee. It’s unknown if Miro has had discussions with the promotion.
The report states talks between Miro and AEW have been ongoing, and the agreement is “long term pending an option on the deal.”
