NXT ‘The Great American Bash’ Tops AEW ‘Fyter Fest’ In Viewership, AEW Beats NXT In Key Demos

For the second straight week WWE NXT has averaged a larger audience over AEW in the Wednesday Night Wars.

Both shows had special presentations on 7/1, NXT held their first ever The Great American Bash’ while AEW held their second annual Fyter Fest.

NXT drew an average of 792,000 viewers during the two hour special, while AEW had 748,000 viewers.

In terms of ratings, All Elite Wrestling beat NXT in all demographics, expect for those 50+. In the coveted 18-49 demographic, AEW drew a 0.29 rating, while NXT drew a 0.22.
