All Elite Wrestling has topped NXT for the fifth straight week in the ongoing Wednesday Night Wars.
AEW Dynamite landed 9th in the Top 50 cable telecasts for Wednesday, August 5. The episode drew 793,000 viewers. NXT landed in 65th place, and had 619,000 viewers over the two-hour episode.
In terms of ratings, All Elite Wrestling beat NXT in the coveted 18-49 demographic, AEW drew a 0.32 rating, while NXT drew a 0.16.
Next week’s shows will not go head-to-head as AEW will be airing on Saturday, August 22 due to the NBA. AEW will be airing Double Or Nothing on their Youtube channel during their Wednesday night timeslot.
