TH2’s Jack Evans reportedly received some heat backstage after having a ‘bad match’ on Dark.

This week’s AEW Dark main event saw TH2’s Jack Evans take on the Dark Order’s Preston ‘10’ Vance. During the match, Evans hit a Phoenix Splash on 10, which resulted in him catching 10 in the face and busting him open. According to the Wrestling Observer, Evans received heat from ‘people you don’t want heat with’ backstage. Evans also wasn’t in his tag partner’s Angelico’s corner the next night on Dynamite.

Jack Evans vs. 10 had a bad match which included Evans doing a Phoenix splash where he ended up catching 10 in the face with an elbow which busted him up badly. They went right to the finish. 10 needed work done after. Evans got heat from the people you don’t want heat with there.

-1 jumped into the ring as planned and fist bumped the bloody hand of 10. That was edited out because people saw the young kid fist bumping a guy covered in blood.

This wasn’t the only botch on this week’s show, as Luchasaurus and Cezar Bononi has a miscommunication during their match, which saw them stand in the ring staring at each other for several seconds.

Despite originally airing during the premiere of the show, the two matches had segments removed from them when the episode was posted soon after.
