Nick Jackson did not suffer a broken leg at AEW New Year’s Smash Night One.

Wednesday’s Dynamite saw The Young Bucks team with SCU to defeat The Acclaimed and TH2. During the match, Jack Evans attempted to hit a 630 on Nick Jackson, but Jackson got his knees up and feared he had broken his leg, however this is not the case according to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Brian Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live that Jackson suffered a contusion on Dynamite and not a broken leg. Alvarez mentioned that despite not being physical in the closing moments of the show, Jackson recovered backstage and will not miss any ring time.

Jackson won’t have to worry about being ready for next week’s show, as it was taped yesterday. It was also noted that he thinks he will be ok for the next tapings taking place on January 20th.
