According to PWInsider, Jeff Cobb has not signed with AEW, and is currently a free agent. Cobb’s ROH contract expired at the end of 2019, and he opted not to sign an exclusive deal.
Cobb’s appearance was booked directly by AEW, and his debut should not be seen as ROH and AEW having a working agreement.
Jeff Cobb is a former PWG Champion, ROH TV Champion, and New Japan-Pro Wrestling NEVER Openweight Champion.
Cobb most recently worked Ring Of Honor’s Free Enterprise event alongside his tag-team partner Dan Maff.
Cobb and Maff are scheduled to work Ring Of Honor’s Supercard Of Honor XIV event against KENTA and Taiki Ishimori on April 4th in Lakeland, FL
