A Texas Death Match is now official for Full Gear, with the AEW World Trios Championship on the line.
The stipulation was set on the November 4 episode of Dynamite in Jacksonville, Florida. Austin Creed confronted Swerve Strickland backstage about what Strickland did to Bandido the week before, and Bandido attacked Kofi Kingston nearby. The confrontation turned into a brawl involving all six men, and security had to separate them.
Bandido told Hangman Page that Strickland took his mask and his honor, and that he will take Strickland’s life. Page tried to talk him down, saying that is exactly what Strickland wants, but Bandido demanded a Texas Death Match for the trios title match at Full Gear. Page reluctantly agreed, and the match was made official.
The match will see Page, Brody King and Bandido defend the AEW World Trios Championship against Strickland and The New Level, Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed, at Full Gear on Saturday, November 14, at the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Page, Bandido and King regained the trios titles at WrestleDream 2026, and Strickland had already pushed for the Texas Death stipulation two weeks ago, when Page turned it down.
The segment also showed the tension inside both teams. Creed questioned Strickland’s actions before the brawl, and Page was the one holding his own partners back from giving Strickland what he wants. Bandido, who has more Texas Death experience than anyone in AEW, was the one who pushed hardest for the stipulation.
What is confirmed is the Texas Death stipulation, the two teams, and the November 14 date in Phoenix. What is not confirmed is whether the match stays a straight trios title match, or whether the bad blood between Strickland and Bandido pulls in anyone else before Full Gear.
