AAA Triplemania Match Card Announced, The Elite and Cody Scheduled To Compete

AAA announced the match card for their TripleMania event during a press conference this afternoon. Noted as AAA’s biggest event of the year, the show will take place at Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City Saturday August 3, 2019.

The event will be headlined by Dr. Wagner Jr vs. Blue Demon in a Hair vs. Mask match, and also feature AEW Stars Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks face Lucha Bros and Laredo Kid in a re-match from Fight For The Fallen. Cain Valasquez of UFC fame will also be competing in a 6-Man tag alongside Cody and Psycho Clown.

  • Mask vs. Hair: Blue Demon Jr. vs. Dr. Wagner Jr.
  • Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks vs. Pentagon Jr. & Laredo Kid & Rey Fenix.
  • La Parka vs. Pagano vs. Puma King vs. Aero Star vs. Drago vs. Averno vs. Chessman vs. Super Fly vs. TBA
  • Taya Valkyrie vs. Tessa Blanchard vs. Faby Apache, vs. Lady Shani vs. Keyra vs. La Hiedra vs. Chik Tormenta.
  • Psycho Clown, Cody and Cain Velasquez vs. El Texano Jr., Taurus and a Mystery Partner
  • AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship: Niño Hamburguesa and Big Mami vs. Sammy Guevara and Scarlett Bordeaux vs. Villano III Jr. and Lady Maravilla vs. Australian Suicide and Vanilla
