Update: Sammy Guevara and Sasha Banks have issued statements
All Elite Wrestling’s Sammy Guervara began trending on Twitter Monday morning following unearthed audio featuring disturbing comments about WWE star Sasha Banks.
The clip, which has been shared by thousands on social media features Sammy Guevara making explicit remarks towards Banks during the RAW’s 4th Hour podcast in 2016.
“Bro, Sasha Banks, oh my god! When I was at the WWE the other week I wanted to just fuc*ing *r*ape that woman” Guevara stated.
The comment was made while reviewing a match between Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch during the July 25, 2016 episode of Monday Night RAW.
At the time, Guevara had recently done extra work for WWE while they were in Texas.
