Tony Khan Throws Shade At WWE

Earlier today, CM Punk announced “no one is safe” on tomorrow’s edition of WWE Backstage.

Punk plans on speaking his mind during his first official appearance as an analyst on WWE’s late night studio show on FS1.

Punk stated, “It IS weird trying to catch up on 5+ years of rasslin’, I’m doing what I can. There’s bright spots, mostly women from what I can tell. There’s BAD too. I’m gonna talk about it, and no one is safe. Join us.” He tagged Renee Young, Booker T, WWE on FOX, Vince McMahon, and Tony Khan in his tweet,

Tony Khan responded by throwing shade at WWE’s recent travel incident in Saudi Arabia.

Khan replied, “No one is safe? Sounds like a plane full of wrestlers in Saudi Arabia!”

WWE Backstage will air on FS1 at 11 pm ET with host Booker T and Renee Young. Former WCW Champion David Arquette will be a guest, and take part in the “promo school” segment.
