Alberto Patron Suffers MMA Loss To Tito Ortiz

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz faced former WWE Champion Albero El Patron in Combate Americas debut pay-per-view tonight in Hidalgo, Texas.

Alberto El Patron had to give up his personal WWE Championship after suffering a loss to Tito Ortiz during the main event match.

Tito Ortiz defeated El Patron by rearnaked choke in Round 1 of the bout. 

The two fighters made a stipulation that if either one loses they would have to put up their UFC and WWE Championship belts. After winning the match, Ortiz stated he was giving his newly one WWE Championship to his kids.

 

Tito Ortiz signed with Combate Americas this past April. Alberto El Patron has been tied to Combate Americas for several years, and served as a figurehead for the promotion from 2015 – 2017.
