Late WWE Star Appears In Posthumous Music Video

A previously unreleased music video featuring former WWE star Ashley Massaro was released this week.

Prior to her passing last May, Ashley Massaro took part in the filming of “Choose Song”, which was presented by 94.3 FM The Shark in New York, where she worked part time as a disc jockey.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the video was originally scheduled to be released last June.

Brian Orlando said at that point the idea of releasing it felt gross to him. The song itself debuted at a charity event, but the video, filmed in December 2018 and January 2019, did not. Due to COVID-19 and public depression related to it, Orlando was approached by people regarding releasing the video. Vinnie Dombrowski, who was one of the people who recorded the song, asked Orlando about doing so. Orlando met with Massaro’s parents, brother and daughter. Massaro’s mother said it was something Ashley felt strongly about and felt it was best to see it through. Ashley Massaro had seen a 95 percent completed version of it before her death and Orlando said that “I know she loved it.
