The Authors of Pain are scheduled to work up-coming live events in June according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider. “Akam and Rezar are scheduled for Smackdown Live events in June,” Johnson stated. Akam has been out of action due to a leg injury which required surgery in January.
Now that Akam is cleared for in-ring return, the team will be brought back into the fold. It’s not known if they will just work live events prior to returning to television.
It will be interesting to see whether Drake Maverick will return as their manager, or if he will continue on his quest to win the WWE 24/7 Championship.
