The Forgotten Sons won’t be in action on WWE television for at least the remainder of June.

The team was removed from WWE television, and are not factored in for the next two episodes of SmackDown according to a report from Fightful Select (subscription required).

The team, consisting of Jaxson Ryker, Steve Cutler, and Wesley Blake were set for a push within the tag-team division, working a program with New Day, but those plans appear to be not happening anytime soon.

Several WWE stars including Mustafa Ali, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Ricochet spoke out about his tweet.

According to Fightful, prior to his tweet most of the WWE talent they spoke with indicated he was well liked and respectful.

Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler have distanced their stances following Ryker’s tweet, and did attend a meeting with other wrestlers held by Head of Talent Relations Mark Carrano. There is reportedly no heat backstage with Cutler and Blake.

It’s unknown what will happen moving forward with the team, but as of Monday, they weren’t figured into any creative plans for the television tapings for the next two episodes of SmackDown.

It’s possible they could film vignettes, but that doesn’t appear to be the case of this writing.
