Who’s Behind Roman Reigns’ Promos?
After a several month hiatus, Roman Reigns returned to WWE this past SummerSlam, shifting into a heel character.
Following his return, Reigns aligned himself with Paul Heyman, and built a new ‘Tribal Chief’ persona.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Reigns has not only built a relationship on-air with Heyman, but also backstage. Paul Heyman is behind much of what Roman Reigns is saying in his promos.
While Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns have forged a strong on-air relationship in recent months, PWInsider.com can also confirm that much of what Roman Reigns is saying in promos has been written by Heyman as well.
The report also indicates that Michael P.S Hayes has been very hands on backstage, personally producing Roman Reigns’ big pay-per-view matches.
Roman Reigns WWE Universal Championship match is at this weekend’s TLC pay-per-view against Kevin Owens.
