Many “Baffled” About Keith Lee Being On The List

Earlier today, reports emerged that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was unhappy with the working ability of several of his “bigger guys,” so much so that he ordered a batch of talent to return to the WWE Performance Center to attend two training sessions a week with coaches Adam Pearce and Drew Gulak.

Included in that list were Otis, Dabbo Kato, Omos, Mace from RETRIBUTION, and former NXT champion Keith Lee.

Now Fightful Select(subscription required) is reporting that many backstage were “baffled” that Lee made it on that list, as he is widely considered one of the better workers in the company. However, many told the publication that they believe Lee got caught up in the group because of his size, and that there wasn’t anything specific that got him sent there.

As for Otis…he is still VERY well liked backstage, including by Vince McMahon, but there have been a couple of spots in recent months that have caught the attention of those in Gorilla who think that he could work safer.

The report also mentions that many in the locker room knew about this plan to send certain stars back to the PC, but kept it quiet for obvious reasons prior to it leaking. The list of names that were initially reported may also grow, but additional details have yet to be revealed.
